Batavia, Ill.-based Tele-Fonika Cable Americas Corp. says its TFWIND Cable System product line now includes the TorsionFLEX Cable. According to the company, these cables have passed rigorous torsion tests, including 1,440-degree clockwise-counter clockwise (4 x 360-degree center pivot) at -40 C at 3,000 cycles.

The TFWIND line includes tower power, control and instrumentation cables for connection to wind turbines, medium-voltage cables for the power-collection grid, high- and extra-high-voltage cables for underground transmission and bare ACSR conductor cables for overhead transmission.
