Itron Tests IEE MDM, SAP AMI Integration For Utilities Integration | in News Departments > FYI | by Renew Grid on Thursday 04 February 2010   |
Itron Inc. says it recently completed successful testing between the current release of its Itron Enterprise Edition Meter Data Management (IEE MDM) solution and SAP's AMI Integration for Utilities software.
The integration, as a part of the SAP AMI Lighthouse Council project, is aimed at helping utilities with advanced metering infrastructure design, integration and implementation, as well as providing meter data unification and synchronization functionality.
"IEE MDM integrated with SAP AMI Integration for Utilities helps to reduce the amount of custom integration and risk utilities have to shoulder and manage, as well as provides a lower overall lifecycle cost," comments Julie Hance, vice president of software solutions for Itron North America.
