The Demand Response and Smart Grid Coalition (DRSG) says Cisco, Cooper Power Systems, Tropos Networks, Grid Net and the U-SNAP Alliance have joined the organization. These companies will help the DRSG educate policy-makers, utilities, consumers and other stakeholders about demand response and related technologies and practices.
"As I welcome Cisco, Cooper Power Systems, Tropos Networks, Grid Net and U-SNAP Alliance to the group, I'm pleased to say that DRSG's ability to help make the smart grid a reality has just become stronger," says Dan Delurey, president of the DRSG.
