Utility Group To Add SmartSynch Technologies To Product Offerings | in News Departments > Projects & Contracts | by Renew Grid on Thursday 29 July 2010 | SmartSynch Inc., a smart grid technology company, has entered into a co-marketing agreement with Central Service Association (CSA), a member-owned utility consortium comprising 130 members across a nine-state region that includes the entire Tennessee Valley Authority service area.
CSA will add SmartSynch's smart grid technologies to its product and service offerings as an approved vendor. SmartSynch's product portfolio includes smart meters, cellular services, and the proprietary Transaction Management System software and Managed Services platform. Managed Services will handle the reading, uploading, storage and delivery of energy-consumption data for participating CSA member utilities, and SmartSynch's cellular networks will serve as the communications backbone for the utilities' systems.
