Houston-based Comverge Inc., a provider of smart-grid, demand-management and energy-efficiency solutions, has released its Apollo system at its annual users' group meeting.
Apollo represents the industry's first integrated demand-response management system that links in-home demand-response devices to electric utility operations and back-office applications. Apollo is an enterprise-class, 100% Web-based application, designed to provide a platform for advanced demand-management applications, as well as future Comverge software applications.
Key features of this Apollo release include the following:
- integrated load-reduction estimation that provides system operators an intuitive view of the amount of demand reduction capability achieved;
